Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, or using Reflective ("the Service"), operated by Just Write Apps, LLC ("Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, device access, and any optional vault passcodes you configure. If you enable optional vault passcode encryption, ensure you remember your passcode, as forgotten local passcodes cannot be reset by our support team.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Reflective offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Reflective Pro") via Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Web. Subscriptions may be canceled at any time in your account or store settings prior to the next renewal period.

4. Limitation of Liability

Reflective is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we prioritize industry-standard security and reliable cloud synchronization, you are encouraged to periodically export backups of your journals using our built-in export features.

5. Location-Based Services Terms

In accordance with the South Korea Location Information Protection and Usage Act and global regulatory standards, this section governs your use of optional location features in Reflective:

• Purpose of Location Services: Location coordinates (latitude and longitude) are accessed strictly upon explicit user request to attach optional location markers to journal entries and display personal memory maps.
• Client-Side Vault Security: Coordinates are saved within client-side encrypted local vaults (AES-256 GCM) on your device. Coordinates are never transmitted unencrypted or shared with advertisers, brokers, or third-party marketing services.
• Consent and Revocation: You may grant, adjust, or revoke location permissions at any time through your operating system settings. Core journaling features remain fully functional without granting location access.
• Data Retention and Deletion: Location data attached to an entry is permanently removed when the entry is deleted. Upon account deletion, all synced location data is permanently purged within 30 days.
• Location Information Inquiries: Any inquiries or disputes regarding location services may be directed to our customer support team at support@justwriteapps.com.
